FOLIX - Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Folix, including our website, tools, and services. By using Folix, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

1.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and legally allowed to enter agreements.

1.2 Account Responsibilities

  • Maintaining account security
  • Keeping login details confidential
  • All activity under your account

Notify us immediately of unauthorized access.

2. User Content

2.1 Your Rights

You retain full ownership of the content you upload or generate.

2.2 License You Give Us

By using Folix, you grant us a license to host, store, display, distribute, modify (for formatting), and serve assets (images, code, pages) solely so we can operate your portfolio.

2.3 Prohibited Content

You may NOT upload or publish:

  • Illegal or harmful content
  • Copyrighted material you do not own
  • Malware, bots, spam, or malicious code
  • Adult or pornographic content
  • Hate speech, violence, or harassment
  • Fraudulent or misleading content

We reserve the right to remove any content violating these rules.

3. Payment and Subscriptions

3.1 Billing

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. All charges are handled securely via Stripe.

3.2 Refunds

We do not guarantee refunds, but may offer them on a case-by-case basis.

3.3 Plan Limits

Portfolio limits, features, and usage caps depend on your plan. Exceeding limits may cause service interruption.

4. AI-Generated Content

Folix provides AI-generated text, images, or recommendations. You agree that AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete; you are responsible for reviewing/editing all AI content; and you hold us harmless for issues resulting from AI-generated content.

5. Domains and Hosting

5.1 Subdomains

Folix provides free subdomains like username.folix.io.

5.2 Custom Domains

Users are responsible for DNS configuration, domain ownership, renewal fees, and correct configuration following our instructions. We may temporarily disable domains that violate our policies.

6. Code Export

Plans that include code export grant you full ownership of the exported project. However, you may not resell, redistribute, or offer Folix templates as competing services or builders.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

You may not use Folix to host phishing pages or malware, abuse resources, scrape or hack the platform, interfere with other users, or create copycat/competing services using our templates, UI, or system. We may suspend accounts violating the AUP.

8. Intellectual Property

Folix owns all rights to templates, branding, design, UI components, and the platform. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of Folix.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations, non-payment, abusive behavior, fraud, or illegal activity. Users may delete accounts anytime.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Folix is provided “as is” without warranties. We do not guarantee error-free service, continuous uptime, perfect accuracy of AI outputs, or preservation of data after account deletion.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Folix is not liable for data loss, downtime, AI inaccuracies, domain issues, third-party actions, or loss of revenue/opportunities. Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid in the last 12 months.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction unless otherwise required.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
